SEPTEMBER News

Hello there...

I am finally ready to put paws to keyboard and begin chattering ScruffyDog again.   Before I start..  I need to thank you all once again for your incredible support over what has been an unexpectedly difficult summertime for my Family .
John Lennon once said...  Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans...
Never has that been more true, especially for my little business... all the plans I had made for when I finally got made redundant from the day job are redundant themselves...  I cannot change anything but I have to keep popping one foot in front of the other, no matter how slowly at first...

So...  this is where I am at... I intend to slowly bring ScruffyDog back online.   For my own self more than anything else...  I simply love to get my hands messy and make things...  Those of you that have been on board for a while will know this...  The Shed is my happy place... and I just want to get back at it, but at my own pace...  so with this in mind... I had a handful of events that I have committed to much earlier in the year... but will not be seeking to book in any more during the crazy run up to the festive season...  Dates of when and where can be found below...

I have switched my Website and my Etsy Shop back on... I am very aware that any momentum I had with reach and search engine shenanigans has all been lost,  but I am sure can be recovered with some determination from me and some help from you folks.

The orderbook for bespoke work will remain closed for now... I have a backlog of pieces to honour… folks that have been so understanding... and I also need to get making fresh stock for those upcoming events and also for my fabulous stockist…  Vintage Guru...

I've spent more time in The Shed in the past two days than I have for the past two months...  All my quench buckets had totally dried out !!!  I've given it a thorough springclean and move about to freshen the energy and chose a couple of YouTube tutorials of things I've never made before to stretch my fingers and get the creativity flowing.  I had fun and that's what is really important right now.
