ScruffyDog Workshop Sessions

I can now offer a relaxed, cosy space for you to come have a bash and create your very own silver jewellery… 

Warning !  It can become addictive !!!  Look what happened to me !

First and foremost, I want your experience to be FUN !!!  As I only have space for 2 ScruffyDogStudents + Me and of course… Fudge, this lends itself to an unpressurised session… we will go at our own pace…  obviously with a brew and biscuit or two !

Prices are based on a 121 session, or better still, come along with a Friend and share the fun..

I’m all for keeping it simple… so in a nutshell here is what is available  !

Make your own ring…  Do you want to texture it ?  Stamp a design into it?  Run it through the rolling mill ? or maybe personalise it with some lettering… it’s up to you to decide !   You will learn how to cut to size, get the ring prepped for soldering, clean and polish and voila…. a handmade ring to take home !!!

Ring is 5mm wide – 1 person £75 – 2 people £60pp – 90Mins

Stacker Ring Session… Make a couple of skinny rings… however you like… hammer, leave mirrorshine, maybe use beaded wire or use the die gizmo and make a wavy ring… No rules ! 

Rings are made from 2mm wire – 1 person £90 – 2 people £75pp – 90mins

Design your own Pendant – You start with a slab of 1mm thick sterling silver and away you go !  Sketch out a template, then pierce out your desired shape with my trusty saw… Use my stampies or texture plates to create your design !  Wherever your imagination takes you !  Smooth it, shape it and polish it, then drill a small hole for the link ring and add a chain…   Maybe make a perfect gift for that someone special ! 
*You will need to do some homework before you arrive… and have a clear goal in mind of what you would like to create !

You are given a 20mm square slab of sterling to play with !  1 person £95 – 2 people £80pp – 90mins…  link ring and 18” chain supplied too…

Make a Bangle – You will learn how to cut to size, prep for soldering… Do you want a round one, an oval or perhaps a hexagon shape. How about texturizing it to make it sparkle, or pop it into a die to create a wave !  It’s up to you !  You are the boss !

Bangles are made from 2mm round wire – 1 person £110 – 2 people £95pp

Bespoke Sessions – if you want to make something specific… just drop me a message to natter… Prices for these will obviously vary… but how much fun could we have together !  *Please choose something from the ScruffyDogMenu that has caught the eye...  We can only make together what I can confidently make myself !

So there we are… a little something for everyone I thought… 

Just a few things of note… the sessions will take place in my workshop but this is also my home… and I have a giant excitable bearded collie in residence !!!  She can be… chatty and impossibly bouncy ! 

You will have access to all my tools and stampies, the same ones I use every day… it’s taken me years to build my collection !

There are outdoor wooden steps to navigate to get to my Workshop.
